Biography

Robert was born in 1790 (Wikipedia says 29 Nov, Find A Grave says 19 Nov). He passed away in 1856.

He served on the Supreme Court of Missouri as a pro-slavery judge from 1825-1837. [1]

Robert married first on 01 May 1826 in St. Louis to Frances (Christy) Berry, [2] and they had one surviving child:

Robert married second on 02 Aug 1837 in St. Louis to Eliza Lewis Taylor, [3] and they had eight surviving children:

Robert died in November 1856, one month before his daughter Edmonia was born. [4]
