Biography
Edith was born in 1836. She was the daughter of John Warter and Edith Southey.[1][2]
She married Rev. Herbert Southey White in 1858 at West Tarring, Susssex[3] and they had at least 4 children.
She passed away in 1863 of diphtheria, her husband succumbed to the same illness 12 days later, leaving their young family orphaned.
