"20. Deborah Ward, born July 19, 1662 in Newton, Mass., married January 2, 1682, , John Wyeth, born 1655, son of Nicholas and Rebecca (Andrew) Wyeth. They resided on the southeasterly side of of Fresh Pond, near Mount Auburn, Mass.
Children, born in Newton:
112. Elizabeth, born October 6, 1684, died young.
113. Deborah, born November 20, 1686, married Deacon Samuel Bowman. He died 1746.
114. John, born December 21, 1688, died young.
115. Jonathan, born March 3, 1690, died September 24, 1743. He married Hepizibah Champney, daughter of Daniel and Hepizibah Champney.
Children: Jonathan, Deborah, Sarah, Noah
116 Hannah, born about 1693, died September 12, 1756, She married (1) about 1712 Samuel Prentice, born about 1693, died October 24, 1722 (or 23), son of Solomon and Hepizibah Dunton Prentice. She married (2) 1723 Jason Winship of Arlington, Mass., who was killed by the British soldiers on their retreat from Lexington.
Children, first marriage, surname Prentice--Jonas, Nathaniel, Hannah, Tabitha, Solomon.
117. Thankful, born about 1696, baptized April 18, 1697, married December 6 1716, William Winship.
118. Ebenezer, baptized July 24, 1698, died April 3, 1754. He married about 1726, Susannah Hancock, born about 1707, died July 29, I789.
Children: Ebenezer, Jonas, Susannah, Mary, Noah, Sarah.
119. Elizabeth, baptized May 25, 1701, married October 2, 1718, John Winship.
120. John, born December 27, 1705, died October 23, 1756. He married December 20, 1733, Elizabeth Hancock, born about 1705, died probably February 23, 1793, daughter of Nathaniel Hancock. He was a selectman at Watertown, Mass. 1750-56.
Children: John, Elizabeth, Martha, Elizabeth, John, Prudence, Jonathan.[1]
