  • FUNERAL NOTICE.
  • The friends of the late Mr. William Alfred Ward, of Bushranger's Creek, are invited to follow his remains to the place of interment in the Church of England portion of the Wellington Cemetery. The funeral cortege will leave the Wellington Hospital at 11 a.m. to-morrow (Friday).

  • OBITUARY.
  • This morning the death took place in the Wellington Hospital of Mr. William Alfred Ward, of Bushranger's Creek, after an illness of ten days, the cause of death being enteric fever. The deceased, who carried on lime burning, was the son of the late John Ward, and was 38 years of age. He leaves a widow but no family The funeral will take place to-morrow, and the cortege will leave the hospital at 11 o'clock for the Church of England portion of the cemetery. The funeral arrangements will be in the hands of Mr. C. J. Shakespeare.
