Biography

Edward Walton was born about 1746 in Cumberland, Virginia to parents Thomas Walton and Martha Cox. ^[1]

He married Nancy Ann Murray before 1757.^[1]

Children: Sallie, Judith, Thomas M, Sarah, Patsy, Susanna, Phoebe Ann. He died in Oct 1807 in Cumberland, Virginia.

Edward George Walton (Walton-12154) is probably not the son of this Edward. He was added through a merger.

In the 1782 Virginia Census Edward is in Cumberland. There are also men named Edward Walton in Mecklenburg and Hanover in that year.
