Research Notes

The death record for Reuben Walls (George's son) shows Mary Brown as his mother's name, according to informant Mrs. Moses Redd, but her relationship has not yet been determined.

George may have remarried between 1870 and 1880. A possible 1880 Census record shows George married to Ellen (possibly Steward) and a mother (possibly Ellen's) in the household, but neither of them reported that their parent was born in Maryland ...
