Hi Jason,

It’s 6-month check-in time for Adoption Angels. Please let me know if you are still interested in being a part of the project and contributing to its goals through research help, giving advice in the Google group, or working on active cases. Thank you for your many contributions.

Best wishes, Emma

Hi Emma,

I am still interested, but will probably have limited time to focus much attention on the Adoption Angels project for now. If it’s possible to keep me on the list so I can poke in periodically, that would be great, but if not, let me know. Thanks for coordinating this and checking in!

No problem Jason, can you check the tracker for your current cases and update the check in date and the notes if needed? Thanks! Emma

Jason, thanks for your note about your Delamater-deGraaf ancestry. Since receiving your message, I spent a bit of time looking into the ancestors you named -- specifically researching and editing the profiles for Blandina De Graaf and her husband Cornelis Delameter.

Their time period is one for which research can be challenging. The deeds you have found may prove to be very helpful. The best way to share the information you have found with other interested Wikitreers might be to document the details of the deeds on a free-space page on WikiTree.

I do have de Graaf ancestry, but much of my work on these families is in support of the New Netherland Settlers Project. You might want to join us.
