I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Kay, I added you to John Bruce, my grandfather's trusted list, but we each have a Robert Bruce profile. Mine is Bruce-1926. I added your profiles of James Bruce and Janet Campbell as Robert's parents. It has his children too, so I've initiated a merge with the Robert Bruce you created. I would prefer to keep mine so we don't have to add all his children again. If that's okay with you,I'll go ahead and merge the two Robert Bruces.

Hi, Kay! I just noticed that you are on WikiTree when you posted your Bruce tag. I have some of the U.S. Bruces in WikiTree, but not all. I haven't been very good about filling out the sources and biographies, but you may find some info. I see that you have most of my mother's family in your Ancestry tree. There may be other Bruce relatives I can add there.

Thanks Kay. I am fairly new to this, but you make a good point about the country. I'm going to go back and add the countries for those I am sure of as soon as I can. Mac McGregor was born in Canada.

Hi Kay, THANK YOU for the sources for John and Caroline Sincock! Ive added them to the profiles, and had a look on Trove. I think I will need a certificate or 2 to verify we have the right John. I'll let you know when I get them and forward them on x
