L. C. Walker Dies; Funeral Is Friday
Gloucester - Linwood Cary Walker, 83, died Wednesday morning at his home here after a long illness.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Susan Walker; two daughters, Mrs. Harvey Rowe of Gloucester Point and Mrs. Leonard Wilson of Shackelfords; two sons, A. L. Walker of Shackelfords and Raymond Walker of Gloucester; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Henry German of Gloucester.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the graveside in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery at Pinero with the Rev. H. H. Johnson, pastor of Shackelfords Methodist Charge, officiating.
