Sarah Elizabeth Walker (married names Gilmour, then Hunter) was born in 1885 in Penshurst, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Eliza (Porter) Walker and Thomas Walker.^[1]

She married John Henry Gilmour on 24 December 1908 in Victoria.^[2] Their children were:

• Margaret Eliza Gilmour (1910–1998)^[3]
• Lilian May Gilmour (1912–1998)^[4]
• Three more children

Sarah and John divorced in 1926.^[5]

Sarah remarried in 1941 in Victoria, to Alexander Hunter.^[6]

Sarah died on 14 August 1943 in Warrnambool, Victoria, aged 57 years.^[7]
