Francis was born in 1880. He was the son of William Walker and Georgina Palmer. He passed away in 1937.
Glen Innes Examiner, Saturday, 4 September 1937, p. 4- MR. PERCY WALKER 'The death of Mr. Percy Walker, a grazier, of Glenlyon, Stanthorpe, occurred at New Farm, Brisbane, on Thursday. Mr. Walker, who was aged 57 years, had been in ill-health for five years, and at times suffered severely, but finally passed away peace fully in his sleep. During the greater part of his illness he had been living in Brisbane and suburbs, and despite his indisposition was always a keen follower of the pastoral life of the State. He was the son of the late Mr. W. H. Walker, of Tenterfield Station, New South Wales, and was educated at Ccoerwull Academy, Bowenfels, New South Wales. Shortly aft- er leaving college he became engaged in the practical side of the grazing business, and was for 10 years on Elderslie Station, North Queensland, ultimately settling on his own property, Glenlyon. He is survived by his widow and two sons, Mr. William Wallace Walker (step-son) and Mr. Scott McLeod Walker. A sister is Mrs. D. M. Cameron, of 'Kalanga,' Glen Innes.
