Heinrich was born in 1837. He was the son of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm Waldau (b. 1801) and Marie Sophie Elisabeth Widdelmann (b. abt 1805) of Prussia, Germany.
He emigrated to America, settling in Allen County, Indiana. He married there Wilhelmina "Minnie" Fahlsing in 1859.[1][2][3] They had the following children, as recorded on FamilySearch:

He was listed as a carpenter in 1860 and 1870. (Brothers Francke? and Charles may have been living nearby in 1860).
In 1880 he is recorded in Lima, Allen, Ohio, in the household of Robert Eastman, an attorney, with his family, working as a carpenter. (Children are Christina 12, Gustain 10, George 7, Theodore 5, Ida Louise 1, and all children but Ida were born in IN, Ida was OH).
In 1900 they are recorded back in Fort Wayne, IN, where he is working as a house carpenter, Minnie reports 8 children born and 6 living, and Ida is the only child at home, working as a dressmaker.
In 1910 Henry and Wilmina are recorded in the household of George and Ora Walda.
He passed away in 1913.
