Charlotte Walbancke (married name Payne) was born about 1800 in London, England, the daughter of Ann (Arnell) Walbancke and William Walbancke.^[1]

She was christened on 21 August 1800 at St Giles Cripplegate, London.^[1]

She was married to James Payne. Their children were:

• James Wallbanke Payne (1820?–1907)^[2]
• George Walbancke Payne (1822?–?)^[3]

Charlotte died in 1871 in Victoria, Australia, aged 68 years.^[4]
