Biography
Lucy was born about March 4, 1833. She was the daughter of Robert Wade and Nancy Butkins. [1] She married William Richard Tunstall. Their daughter Virginia Hampton Tunstall was born on 29 March 1867 in New Kent, Virginia, United States.[2]
Lucy died on 3 March 1920 and was buried in Richmond, Richmond City, Virginia, United States.[3]

- While the death certificate indicates Nancy Butkins was her mother, there is a source that shows a Robert Wade married an Ann Batkins. It is unclear if this is the same or different Robert Wade. [10]
- Lucy's son Robert Conway Tunstall died on 3 August 1933 in Richmond, Virginia, United States. The death certificate indicates she was born in New Kent County, Virginia [11]

I found the 1850 census in FamilySearch (free login required): https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M8DQ-Z8M & image. She is listed as Lucy Anne (18), in the household of Robert Wade (44) and Anne Wade (34).
I'll see if I can find later census records for Robert and Anne that might say how long they were married/how many children.
FS says her parents (Robert Wade & Anna Batkin) married in 1830. Her mother's maiden name looks a bit like Batkins on the death cert, but FS transcribes it as Butkins:
In the 1880 census, the mother was living with daughter Mary Horn (2 years younger than Lucy in the 1850 census), but it's the 1900 census that has years married/number of children living & she wasn't in Mary's household then.
