Emma Wilson was born on May 14, 1884, in Cass, Texas, United States, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Wilson (~1842–1919) and Miranza Ada Cook (1847–1892).
Emma (15) married William Orttho Pollard (19) (born on August 6, 1879, in Hamilton, Marion, Alabama, United States; son of John Thomas Pollard and Mary Susan (Ballard) Pollard) on July 2, 1899, in Cass. [1] [2] William served time in prison from 7 January 1909 to 17 October 1910. Emma and the children lived with her parents during that time. [3] The family then settled in Upshur County, Texas [4] [5] [6]
