The baptism year had been incorrectly transcribed and indexed within FamilySearch as 1776 and should be 1774, as had already been established (for example on the profile of Jan Godlieb Brink (bef.1774-bef.1777)) by André Laubscher five years ago on 14 September 2019. The year looks like '1776', but paging back, it is clear it is 1774. The 6 is in fact a 4 (to modern eyes it seems to be a six). On Jul 2, 2024 FamilySearch was informed about this error.
