Jannetje Van Voorhees was a daughter of Lucas Stevense Van Voorhees and Catherine Van Noorstrant. Her baptism on Sep 25, 1681 lists (father): Lucas Stevensz, (mother): Catalina Hansz; Jannetie; (sponsors): Peter Hansz, Sara Albertz.[1] She was the 3rd wife of Marten Roelofse Schenck, married 24 Jun 1704, and bore at least 3 children with him. Jannetje died 17 Apr 1758 in Kings County, Long Island, New York.
