Hi Janet,

We worked on the Montague line two years ago and it appears to be quite a mess again. I noticed your notes. You have a great deal of info on this line. I am going to attempt to fix the obvious problems or find another leader to work on it..

Montague ancestry has only been proven to Robert Montague 1505, Boveney, Berkshire County, England. I would suspect that if sourced with proper citations a merge of William could be in order. The New England Historical and Genealogy Society professional genealogists can attest to the fact that the Montague ancestral connection before Robert who was born in 1505 does not exist. Prior to that the ancestry is actually fraudulent. I can provide details if needed. Janet Blackford.
