Biography
Jan Vinke was born on 8 April 1739 in Axel, Zeeland, Netherlands. He was the son of Pieter Vinke and Jacoba Wesepoel. [1]
He married Pieternella van Alten on 1 July 1786 in Zeeland, Netherlands. (In which place?)
He bought farm "Zorg en Genot" in Terneuzen in 1769 and he became deacon in 1780. [2]
He DID NOT die in 1810 in Hoek. It's well documented and his name isn't in those archives! It's a lie going around online, but it's not true!
