Elsie (Vigus) Douglas was born in Devon, England.

Elsie was born on 19th June 1906 at 17 Cowick Road, Saint Thomas registration district in the Counties of Devon and Exeter. She was the daughter of Willie Vigus and Lucy Elliott.^[1]

In the 1911 census Elsie (age 5) was the daughter of William Richard Vigers on Rear 5 Church Street, Torre, Torquay, Tormoham, Devon, England.^[2]

Elsie married Alfred Douglas in the second quarter of 1927 in the Newton Abbot district of Devon.^[3]

In the 1939 register Elsie (age 33), Unpaid Domestic Duties, was recorded as married in Torquay, Devon, England.^[4]

Elsie was living at 67 Torridge Avenue Shiphay Torquay when she passed away on 20 September 1961.^[5][6]
