Biography

George Frederick Vickery was born on 13 July 1809 in Barnstaple, Devon, England, the son of Elizabeth Vickery (nee Norrish) and George Vickery.^[1]

He married Mary Ann Bowden on 28 November 1834 at Saint Mary, Swansea, Glamorganshire, Wales.^[1] Their children included:^[1]

• George Henry Vickery (1835–1896)

He arrived in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia on board the Buckinghamshire - with family, on 21 March 1839.^[2]

George died on 14 August 1898 in Meadows, South Australia.^[1][3]
