Biography
Robert was born about 1759. He was the son of Richard Vicars and Elizabeth Armstrong. He passed away about 1829.
Sacred to the memory of, Reverend Robert Vickers, Late Rector of this Parish. His Protestant Parishioners and Friends have erected a monument as a testimony of their sense of the many virtues of a man.” He became Rector in 1804, having been a curate many years previously (memorial inside church.)
