Before 1862, John VANCE, son of John VANCE, a farmer, was born likely in Ireland.^[1][2]

On February 23, 1882, John of full age, a bachelor and farmer, and Mary Anne CARSON of full age, a spinster, were married in St. John's Church of Ireland, Killesher Parish, County Fermanagh, Ireland. John was residing in Lisblake, Killesher Parish and Mary Anne was residing in Rossmacawinny, Killesher Parish. The witnesses were Robert MAYNE & Thomas KERR.^[3][2]
