Biography

William was born in June 1865 in West Virginia. He was apparently the son of Addison Vance and Minerva Fraley. According to an entry at Family Search, he was raised by his mother's sister Elizabeth after Minerva died.[1] This needs further research.

He married Nancy Chin in Wayne County, West Virginia on March 28, 1885.[2] They were married at the residence of William Chin by William H. Fraley[3]
