The marriage of Madeleine de Valois is one of the principal historic events to occur at Notre Dame, a place much in our thoughts today, according to its Wikipedia article.

Her Wikipedia article includes part of the poem "Deploration of Deith of Quene Magdalene" by the makar David Lyndsay (ca1490–ca1555) , which is also a contemporary description of the pageantry of the marriage.

Valois-240 is the correct profile and biography for Madeleine de Valois. She died without issue.

There appear to be some issues before Valois-240 & Valois-224 can be merged. If she died at 16 without issue she could not be the mother of John Leids. Also different birthplaces and locations of death. Needs further research.
