Merci. François
Thanks for confirming Marielle and taking her under your wing.

According to gedmatch (TV9165492), we might be 6th cousins. This is somewhat surprising, as I haven't proven any Canadian ancestry. In addition, my mother (BY3843687) has a slightly weaker match, although her ancestors spent more generations in Maine than mine. I have an ancestor who died while returning from the failed attack on Port Royal, and one who died at Louisbourg, so no family connection there.

We are 8th Cousins. Michel Bourg is our 7th Great-Grandfather. I know you have made some corrections to my Tree here and I Appreciate them very much. I just didn't realize we are Distant Cousins.
Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.
Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As I always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.
Thank you for being a Wikitreer,

Re jacques Corriveau marriage date, Corriveau-167, it is indeed June, I looked at the actual marriage record. By the way, Berthier-sur-Mer is not in Bellechasse. If we are looking at counties (which mostly did not exist back then), it would be Montmagny county, at a much later date. Don't know what your source was, but I would take it with a grain of salt.
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! This certification requires participation in a project related to the profiles you wish to edit. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?
Let me know! I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders. Welcome aboard!
