Biography

Arlanton more commonly referred to as Arland is presumed born about 1420 in England. {Estimate}

His origins are obscure but believed to possibly come from Yorkshire ^[1]

Noted as a Merchant in Dublin he was Bailiff of Dublin in 1461 and Mayor of Dublin in 1469 ^[2]

Arland m1). Alson Taylor, daughter of Taylour of Swords co. Dublin and his wife Joanna daughter of Richard Bagot. ^[3]

Arland Ussher, Alderman of Dublin died in January 1479. His death is recorded in the Christ Church Obit Book as, Arlanton Wscher, ob. Jan., 1479 ^[4]
