Abel Parker Upshur (June 17, 1790 – February 28, 1844) was an American lawyer, judge and politician from Virginia.

Married Elizabeth W Dennis on 24 Feb 1817 in Rehobeth, Somerset, Maryland, USA[1] (to her death on 28 Nov 1817).

Married Elizabeth Ann Upshur on 23 Jun 1824 in Accomack, Virginia, USA.[2]

Children:
Susan Parker Brown Upshur 1826 Virginia[3]

Upshur was buried at the Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C. Thirty years later his remains were re-interred at Oak Hill Cemetery, also in Washington, D.C.
