Nothing is known of the ancestry of Sophia (Unknown). According to her gravestone record, she was born on 16 May 1854.^[1]

Marriage

Sophia (Unknown) married Charles R. Bowley], sometime between 14 Oct 1885, when Celestia (Fernald) Bowley, Charles' first wife, died,^[2] and 6 Jun 1891, when Sophia died. There were no known children from this marriage.

Death

The Nathan Hale Cemetery Collection includes a record from the Waters Hill Cemetery in Livermore, Maine, for a Sophia Bowley, who died on 6 Jun 1891, with the notation "see Charles R., husband."^[1]
