Michael was born in 1828.

He was a seaman.^[1]

He married Anne Thomas in 1853 in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia.^[2] Their son was:

• John Andrew Tyrrell (1856–1915)^[3]

Michael died in 1886 in Carlton, Victoria, aged 58 years.^[4]

Research notes

Michael Tyrrell aged 27 came to Australia 3 May 1853 on the British Queen with a Judith Tyrrell 24 and an infant. The latter appear to have vanished from Vic records
