Biography

William married Mary Watson on 12 January 1781 in Scarborough, York, England. The couple had one child: William Turner.[1]

William was born before 17 June 1792 in Scorborough, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of Obediah Turner and Mary Watson.[2]

William was baptised on 17 June 1792 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England.[3]

When William was 20 he married Ann Trigg on 24 June 1812 in St Botolph without Bishopsgate, England. The couple had 11 children: Mary Turner, Robert Frederick Turner, Margaret Turner, Maria Jane Turner, Jane Turner, Charles Turner, Joseph Tayler Turner, Eliza Turner, Edward Hoddart Turner, Ann Turner and Jane Turner.[4]

In the 1841 census William (age 48) was living in Scorborough, Yorkshire, England.[5]

In the 1851 census William (age 58) was living in Scorborough, Yorkshire, England. Relationship: Head.[2]

William died at the age of 59 between December 1851 and March 1852 in Beverley, Yorkshire East Riding.[6]
