Biography
Maria was born in 1774 to Anthony Turk and Rachael Van Aeken. She was Christened 15 Jan 1775 in the Dutch Reformed Church at Shawangunk, Ulster, New York. At the time of the 1850 census, she was living in the house of her son Jacob and his wife Maria and their children. She passed away later that year, in 1850. [1]
