Biography

Carlo was born in 1830 [1] to Carlo Cosimo Turchi and Columba Ranieri Chini (1805–1834).

He became a naturalised New Zealand Citizen in 1899 [2][3].

He died in New Zealand on the 21st of April 1921 [4], and was buried at Waikaraka Cemetery in Auckland [5]

TURCHI.—In fond and loving memory of our dear father, C. J. Turchi, who departed this life April 21, 1921.
A precious one from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled. A place is vacant in our home, which never can be tilled.
