Vincent Tudault

Son of Pierre and of Marie Charbonnier, of La Bretonnière (ar. La-Roche-sur-Yon), Luçon diocese, in Poitou (Vendée).[1] Listed as 45 on his marriage (=1667) and around 65 on his funeral (=1661)

According to Jetté, the first mention of him found in records of the colony was on 5 September 1702 in Hôtel-Dieu of Québec, listed as Vincent Jude, 40 years old, from Poitou.[1][2]

Vincent Tudault was present at the marriage of Gabriel Tétard (son of Charles Testard) and Marie Louise Jeaudouin (daughter of Claude Jodoin) on 30 June 1705 in St-François-de-Sales de l’Île-Jésus[3]

Vincent Tudault, 45 year old son of the late Pierre Tudault and the late Marie Charbonnier, of the parish of La Bretonière, diocese of Luçon in Poitou, now resident of Île Jésus, married Jeanne Mansion, widow of Jean Churlau dit Desmoulins, on 5 June 1712 in Notre-Dame de Montréal.[4]

No issue from the marriage.[3]

Vincent Tudau, miller and master (??? illegible), was burried on 16 Feb 1726 in Montréal (ND), the record giving him around 65 years of age.[5]
