‘’’TIFFANY V. TRYON’’’

Tiffany V. Tryon, 64, former resident of Carlisle Center, died Saturday night, Aug. 15, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Armstrong in Bainbridge where he had lived since last November.

He was born in Middleburgh, Schoharie county March 10, 1878, son of Nelson and Jemima Lawyer Tryon. He had lived in Canajoharie for a number of years with his daughter, Miss Ethel Tryon. He was a member of the Methodist church of Warnerville.

Survivors are five daughters, Miss Ethel Tryon, Mrs. Esther Cotrell, Mrs. Marion Oliver of Canajoharie; Mrs. Armstrong of Bainbridge and Miss Dorothy Tryon of Detroit, Mich.; one brother John Tryon of Albany; six grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Lenz funeral home in Canajoharie. Rev. Frank Shimer, pastor of St. Mark’s Lutheran church there officiated, and burial was in the Cobleskill cemetery.[1]
