Biography

Esther, daughter of John Chapman Tryon and Eunice Hopkins, was born in 1831 and baptized on 24 Jun 1834 at the Congregational Church in Franklin, New York.^[1]. She married Albert Tousley and they had three children. She was a seamstress.

Research Notes

The census records give a middle initial of E. or C. but the baptism record gives middle name of Huldah, her maternal grandmother's name.

Her mother lives with the Tousley family in 1860, 1870, and 1875, and lives next door to them with the Pendle family in 1855.
