Frederick Christ Trump was born on 11 October 1904 in Bronx, New York City, New York. He was born at home of his parents. His parents were Friedrich Trump and Elizabeth (Christ) Trump.[1] They were both emigrants from Germany. His father Friedrich was a barber. He was have two siblings: Elizabeth (born 1904) and John George (born 1907).

"Mr. Trump, like Sam LeFrak, another master builder, helped change the face of Brooklyn and Queens with thousands of homes for the middle class[2] in plain but sturdy brick rental towers, clustered together in immaculately groomed parks. Although overshadowed in the news for the last two decades by his flamboyant son Donald, Mr. Trump, a self-made man, built more than 27,000 apartments and row houses in the neighborhoods of Coney Island,[3] Bensonhurst, Sheepshead Bay, Flatbush, and Brighton Beach in Brooklyn and Flushing and Jamaica Estates in Queens.

"According to a New York Times article published in June 1927, a man with the name and address of Donald Trump's father was arraigned after Klan members attacked cops in Queens, N.Y.
"In an article subtitled 'Klan assails policeman', Fred Trump is named among those taken in during a late May 'battle' in which '1,000 Klansmen and 100 policemen staged a free-for-all.' At least two officers were hurt during the event, after which the Klan's activities were denounced by the city's Police Commissioner, Joseph A. Warren."
