Jean Baptiste Trotier was born in July 1646 while at sea, travelling from France, on the boat "Le Cardinal" which left from La Rochelle. He was baptized, when he was 2 months old, on 27 Sep 1646 in Notre-Dame de Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Death and Burial
Jean Trottier passed away on 24 May 1703 being given the age of around 57 years on the record. His burial was the following day in Saint-François-Xavier parish cemetery of Batiscan.[3]
