Hey Leon,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Hi Leon, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your ancestors in the United Kingdom. I wanted to let you know we have a great new project that focuses on the UK here called United Kingdom Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree. You may also be interested in our One Name Studies Project

You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in the United Kingdom Project will be happy to help you in any way they can.

Thank you so much for joining WikiTree. Good luck with your research.

Hi again Leon,

Thanks for volunteering to help grow our one world tree.

Please drop into our friendly Genealogist to Genealogist (G2G) forum to introduce yourself to other WikiTreers - you can access the G2G by selecting G2G Profile from your My WikiTree menu at the top right of most pages.

WikiTree can be a bit overwhelming at first, so don't hesitate to post your questions in the G2G.

Good luck with connecting your leaves and branches to our big tree,

Maryann

I have done a lot of research on the Tripp family name starting with my father. I was able to trace the direct line of Tripps from my father all the way back to England in the 16TH century.

There are a lot of Tripps living in New Bedford and other towns close by and I think I could contribute to the website
