Leo was born in 1892. He was the son of Prosper Treon and Adaline Neargarder. He married Laura Polak and they had five children. He passed away in 1953.

VERSAILLES
Leo W. Treon, 61, a star mail route carrier here and former policeman, died yesterday of a heart ailment at his home on Versailles R. R. 1.
Mr. Treon moved here 15 years ago after he was injured while serving as a police officer in Chicago. He had previously been employed as a brakeman on the New York Central railroad. The star mail route he served was the Versailles-Osgood route.
A veteran of World War I, he saw service in the navy. He was a member of St. Dennis church here.
Services will be held at that church at nine a. m. Monday with the Rev. G. B. Menge officiating. Burial will be in St. Valbert cemetery. Friends may call at the Treon residence after seven p. m. Saturday.
Surviving are his wife, Laura; two daughters, Mrs. Naomi Sheahan, of Chicago, and Mrs. Yvonne Holland, of Pitsburg, California; two sons, Marshall, of Youngstown, and Stuart, of Sunnyville, California; six grandchildren; four brothers, Albert and Leonard, of Indianapolis, and Delroy and Irvin, of Piqua, and two sisters, Mrs. C. O. Draher, of Piqua, and Mrs. Clifford Grunet, of South Bend, Ind.
