Biography

Soloman was born probably in 1799 In Ireland. A death certificate was found^[1]. There is no proof that this is Rose's first husband, and therefore Solomon's father, until further evidence is found^[2] This death record is a possibility because of 1) the unusual given name of Solomon 2) Solomon, Jr., was born in Manhattan 3) The time period is almost exact for Rose to remarry after being widowed 4) the ages of all involved 5) the locations of all involved. Obviously, more research needed in Manhattan to solve the first husband of Rose. Many details point that this man in this death certificate may be him also because it says he was ^[3], born in Ireland and also Rose was widowed by 1830's to remarry Denis McHenry. This is a strong possibility for the father of Solomon Trainer. Follow-up with obituary, burial location, immigration records.
