Hope you are doing well cousin! Soli Deo Gloria, Nikell
To which Alice Treat are you referring? The Treat line is not one I have been researching in the last several years. Any Information I have about Alice (Gaylord) Treat was acquired over 25 years ago, and undoubtedly you will be able to find much more up-to-date information by searching at the New England Historical and Genealogical Society site, or, with care, at ancestry.com or one of the equivalent websites. There were at least three, Treat or Gaylord, Alices as I recall. Years ago, I visited the Treat and Gaylord home village churches at Pitminster and Trull, beautiful places, but so many years after they emigrated that there were no "vibes" that I could pick up. No, not having any interest in them, I do not belong to any of the patriotic or other heredity societies, though from my research I imagine my family would qualify for membership in most of them. Best wishes Nikell, in your search for information on your many generations of the Treat family (and their offshoots). Sean

It appears as though we are cousins many times removed. I am a direct descendant of John Parish (Parisb-47), through a Samuel, son of John and Hannah Jewell. I have a YDNA37 test, and my haplogroup is quite uncommon, and I share it with one other Parish on WikiTree, who unfortunately can't trace his line past an orphaned Parish in the mid-1800s. I became interested in the Tracy ancestry because so many Parishes/Parrishes seemed to marry into the Tracy family. Regards, Jim Parish
