Biography

Mary Tower was born on 5 Dec 1872 in Rockport, Sackville, Westmorland Co., NB. Mary married widower Amos Thomas Patterson, son of Silas Patterson and Ann Tingley, on 7 Jul 1887 in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia.^[1] Amos was was 27 years her senior. He died on 6 Jun 1906 at the age of 68 and was buried with his first wife in Upper Sackville, New Brunswick.^[2]

Mary relocated to Massachusetts after his death. As a 36-year old widow with five children she married engineer Frank Larkin in Lynn, Massachusetts on 8 Mar 1909.^[3]
