Research Notes

According to PRDH,[1] the marriage contract dated 19 January 1738 indicates that this woman was the daughter of Antoine Toupin (1680-1759) and Françoise Lefèbvre (1688-1746). This would make her the sister of another Marie Françoise who married Jean Ignace Pageau (abt.1725-abt.1772) in 1750. PRDH assigns the 1714 baptism to this woman, while it assigns an estimated date of birth of 1725 for her sister.

Tanguay lists this Francoise Toupin's parents as Ignace Toupin & Marie-Elisabeth Duprac. Do the research and please re disconnect from the wrong parents.

I believe that since PRDH lists her parents, birth, marriage and death as legitimate and her sister's birth "lieu indéterminé au Québec (PRDH)" she should be the disconnected one.
