Biography

Euphrosia "Frozina/Rosie" Tkach was born April 18 1903 to Joan "John" Tkach and Alesandra "Sanda" Sendorovski.^[1]

She married Dymtro Zwarych, October 4, 1921, in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.^[2] She had the following children with Dymtro:

1. Mary Zwarych
2. William Zwarych^[3]
3. Stephan Zwarych

On the 1931 Census, Frosina is living with Steve Stolaruk and Mary and Stephan are represented with his last name. They are residing in a single house with three other families including Frosina's mother, Sanda Tkach.

Steve Stolaruk and Frosina never marry as she remained married to Dymtro but she did have children with Stolaruk in Ontario, Canada.

Frosina passed away 11 April 1936 while living with her sister, Sadie Pelihovschi, for close to a year in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, while she battled Cancer.^[1]

Immigration

Frosina immigrated from Romania in 1921 (a villiage that use to be apart of Galicia). She came with her mother Aleksandra "Sanda", Joan "John", and her sister Maria.^[4]. She arrived in Quebec on June 26, 1921 on the ship, Corsican. Her next destination is to her brother, Wasyl Tkach [Tcaci on the form] in Winnipeg [156 Miffoler St.]*^[5]

Research Notes

It is rumored that Ras may have murdered her children if they were not legitimate of Dymtro Zwarych. I feel this is something the kids may have picked up from a very aggrivated father who then abandoned them young and they didn't understand what was going on.
