Pain Tiptoft was the son of "John de Tibetot, Knt., 2nd Lord Tibetot [and] Elizabeth Aspall. Pain Tiptoft (or Typpetoft, Tibetot), Knt., of Burwell, Fordham, and Harston, Cambridgeshire, Justice of the Peace for Cambridgeshirte, 1410, 1412-13, younger son by his father's second marriage. He married Agnes Wroth."[1]

Elizabeth Tiptoft, married John Daneys (or Dynes), Knt., of Tickencote, and Lyndon, Rutland [see Hasilden 11]. They had one son, Robert, and two daughters, Joan (or Jane) (wife of Thomas Dale) and Elizabeth. Sir John Daneys left a will dated 25 Feb. 1432, proved 18 Dec. 1433.
