Biography

Sarah Jane Tilton was born at Ballarat, Victoria during 1882. She was the daughter of John Tilton & Margaret Robson.^[1]

Sarah Jane Tilton married James Hatty in St Aidan's Church of England, Strathmerton, Victoria on 19 June 1912.^[2][3] They had the following children:

1. William George Hatty, born 1913 at Cobram, Victoria^[4]
2. Muriel Evelyn Hatty, born 1915 at Cobram, Victoria^[5]
3. Rose Hatty, born 1916 at Strathmerton, Victoria^[6]
4. Doris May Hatty, born 1917 at Strathmerton, Victoria^[7]

6. Sarah Jane Hatty, born 1921 in Numurkah, Victoria^[9]

Sarah died in Mooroopna Hospital, Victoria on 14 January 1940.^[10][11][12]
