They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 5 daughters.^[3]

Their first child, a son, born in 1906, and died in 1906 is referenced on the Mother's findagrave memorial, yet no records are found. Whoever put together the mother's findagrave memorial, had first-hand knowledge because the rest of the children mentioned, are accounted for. First-hand knowledge is not dismissed.^[4]

She lived in Ironsburg, Monroe, Tennessee, United States in 1910^[5]

On October 20, 1916, their three (3) year old son, Sydney Cardin, died from the flux, or diarrhea or dysentery in Monroe, Tennessee, United States.^[6]

March 26, 1918, another son was born stillborn in Ironsburg, Monroe, Tennessee, United States.^[7]

On May 10, 1919, Mary's seven (7) year old daughter, Dicy Glen Cardin, died from typhoid fever.^[8]
