They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 5 daughters.[3]
Their first child, a son, born in 1906, and died in 1906 is referenced on the Mother's findagrave memorial, yet no records are found. Whoever put together the mother's findagrave memorial, had first-hand knowledge because the rest of the children mentioned, are accounted for. First-hand knowledge is not dismissed.[4]
She lived in Ironsburg, Monroe, Tennessee, United States in 1910[5]
On October 20, 1916, their three (3) year old son, Sydney Cardin, died from the flux, or diarrhea or dysentery in Monroe, Tennessee, United States.[6]
March 26, 1918, another son was born stillborn in Ironsburg, Monroe, Tennessee, United States.[7]
On May 10, 1919, Mary's seven (7) year old daughter, Dicy Glen Cardin, died from typhoid fever.[8]
In 1920, Mary lived with her husband and two (2) daughters in Civil District 5, Monroe, Tennessee, United States.[9]
In 1930 and 1940, Mary lived with her husband and children in Belltown, Monroe, Tennessee, United States.[10][11]
Mary's husband died September 20, 1962 at the age of eighty (80) in Athens, McMinn, Tennessee, United States.[12]
Mary died on 25 August 1978, in Monroe, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 91, and was buried in Wilson Station Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Madisonville, Monroe, Tennessee, United States.[13]
