Virginia, I am in the process of adding a wife and daughter to your profile for Jonas Miller, Miller-45258. I will be adding sources over the next 2 days before I am done.

Hi Virginia,

I have just set up a One Name Study for Wołoszyn and names of similar spellings. Since you’re a manager of several Wołoszyn profile pages, I would love to collaborate with you on this! Let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

Hi Virginia, thank you for messaging me about the Thorntons. Not sure how we connect. I descend from John Thornton http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Thornton-3076 thru his son Wiley. John had several children and Wiley and Burwell were by his 2nd wife. DNA has confirmed we are descended from or related to Luke the Immigrant thru a specific marker in the DNA that does not appear in other Thorntons. We do have a transcript of John's will. I know the Thorntons came to VA first, then spread out from there. A OFT repeated name in the descendants of Wiley is Littleton, named for Littleton Johnston, Wiley's FIL. Every Johnston descended from Littleton seems to have one also. The Johnstons and Thorntons went to GA after NC. Elijah and William Thornton of my line married Stell daughters.

Over the past few years, I have considered a career in Genealogy. That is no longer my current life track but I am thrilled to become a part of an online community to support this hobby of weaving history.
