Biography
John Joseph Thorne was born about 1867.
John married Lily Potter in 1903 in Wollongong, New South Wales. [1] Initially making their home in Woonona, in Wollongong's northern suburbs, the couple later moved to Granville (near Parramatta) and then settled in Narrabri, in the State's north west. They later moved once more, withing the region, to Walgett. John and Lily had seven daughters, two of whom died young, and two sons together.
John passed away in 1934 in Gilgandra, New South Wales, aged 67 years. [2]
